7 New Photos: Summarize the Great Wall of China Marathon 2025-Autumn(Nov.12,2025) For the Great Wall of China Marathon, held on the final Sunday of October 2025, running warriors and heroes from 38 countries and regions were present at the most challenging marathon in China. Participants hailed from France, Germany, Denmark, Mexico, the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain, Switzerland, Russia, Norway, Belgium, Qatar, Canada, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia, Singapore, Italy, Lebanon, Thailand, Finland, Brazil, Sweden, Austria, Cyprus, Taiwan, South Korea, Poland, Chile, the Philippines, New Zealand, the Netherlands, India, Ireland, Hong Kong, Japan, and China. Japan, with 20 runners, emerged as the country with the highest number of overseas participants, while France secured the second position. Among all the competitors, Mr. Vagn Kirkelund from Denmark stands out as he has completed nearly 900 marathons globally. He ranks among the top five runners in Denmark, as depicted in the image below. Indeed, among all the participants this Autumn, there are not only renowned runners and highly active competitors from their respective countries and around the globe, but also emerging runners who are poised to become the future leaders of the world! We take great pride in all of them. Indeed, all the participants left a profound and positive impression on us with their determination, team spirit, immense enthusiasm for running and marathons, as well as their strong will to tackle the most challenging marathon in China! Participating in the Great Wall of China Marathon 2025-Autumn is quite challenging. This autumn, we are introduced an additional 1K for the full marathon participants, it typically requires an average runner approximately 40 minutes to complete this extra kilometre. From our end, we exerted utmost effort towards ensuring their safety! Our rescue team was stationed at the base of the mountain, at the foot of the Great Wall. Even after they descended, we remained concerned that they might fall due to extreme fatigue, and we specifically prepared and boiled ginger-infused warm water for the runners' needs. Indeed, on the race day, October 26, the weather was quite cold, and it had snowed just a week prior on this Great Wall. Additionally, for the first time, we arranged for more buses to transport the runners back to downtown Beijing immediately after they completed the race. Furthermore, for the first time during this Autumn race, we provided a 5-star hotel near the starting line for the runners. We anticipated that fewer than 10 participants would utilize this service, and we planned to use two vehicles to transport the runners to the starting line via a small shortcut in the mountains. We were delighted that over 20 participants opted for this Premium Mini Package, prompting us to quickly arrange a bus to take them all to the starting line. Yes, when these runners received their race packets, we transported them from 1 PM to 7 PM, vehicle by vehicle, on October 25 from the 4-star official Mercure Hotel in downtown Beijing to the 5-star hotel, which took approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes for the journey. Premium Mini Package: for The Great Wall of China Marathon 2025-Autumn and the 25th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2026(August 18,2025) Our heart is always with the runners,all the runners,and we made quite a number of changes upon the request from the registered runners on October 25 for their distance,and also the same day,we accepted the runner who registered Great Wall of China Marathon 2026,he said that he made a mistake and actually wanted to run this autumn,maybe you do not know that we accepted the request for the last new registration on Saturday and her bib number and the Number cloth with her printed name was finally completed after 7pm on October 25,and our printing materials,such as the big course map did not come to us until the midnight,and the printing company used the course map of the full marathon of Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2025 on one big sign board(no mistake in the brochure and the couse map every runners received),and it was noticed later,we rewised this  and this made the result of two top full marathon runners effected.We feel sorry for this. Otherwise they could run much faster with much best result! At the Great Wall of China Marathon 2026,we would not accept the distance changes 3 days before the race,this would make our work much easier and avoid mistake in timing. From late this weekend,our runners can print your certificates online.And soon,we go to reply all the emails,all the WeChat Messages and all the social media messages. The smile and satisfaction of every runners is as nice as the sunshine.For the 25th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2026,there would be more nice change and we would extend to use the new section of the Great Wall!
