Package: for
the Great Wall of China Marathon 2025-Autumn
and the 25th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2026(August 18,2025)
In recent years, a significant number of runners have anticipated
our provision of hotel accommodations near the start line. We have
not yet provided a definitive response. Today, we are delighted to
announce to all participants and enthusiasts of the Great Wall of
China Marathon that starting from the Great Wall of China Marathon
2025-Autumn, we will be offering the Premium Mini Package Service
for all international runners, as well as their friends and family
members!
This package includes: Registration and one night at a 5-star hotel
located near the start line!
For just 350 CNY (approximately 48.8 USD), you can secure one night
of accommodation along with breakfast at the hotel! Please note that
this rate is for two runners sharing a twin room. Should you require
a single room, the hotel fee will be 700 CNY (around 97.6 USD).
This pricing is the same as the rates of the 4-star official Mercure
Hotel in downtown Beijing over the years!
For the Great Wall of China Marathon 2025-Autumn participants:
Upon collecting your race bib at the official hotel, we will provide
complimentary taxi service to the 5-star hotel near the start line,
available from 10 AM to 6 PM on October 25, 2025, from the Mercure
Hotel. If you wish to go to the 5-star hotel between 6 PM and 10 PM
from the official Mercure Hotel in downtown Beijing, an additional
fee of 99 CNY to 150 CNY will apply for nighttime transportation.
The journey will take approximately 2 hours and 9 minutes.
On October 26, 2025, breakfast at the hotel will commence at 6:30
AM, and taxis will be available to transport you from the 5-star
hotel to the start line anytime between 7 AM and 7:30 AM, with a
travel time of about 19 minutes.
After the marathon on October 26, 2025, you can return to the
Mercure Hotel in downtown Beijing via our buses. We will also
provide taxi services back to the 5-star hotel if needed.
The check-out time for the 5-star hotel on October 26, 2025, is 2:30
PM. After this time, should you need to travel to downtown Beijing,
the airports, or the train station, taxis will be readily available
from the 5-star hotel, and you will be responsible for the taxi
fare.
For the 25th Great Wall of China Marathon 2026 Participants:
Upon receiving your race bib at the official Mercure Hotel,
complimentary taxi services will be available to transport you to
the nearby 5-star hotel close to the starting line, operating from
10 AM to 6 PM on April 30, 2026. Should you wish to travel to the
5-star hotel between 6 PM and 10 PM from the Mercure Hotel located
in downtown Beijing, an additional fee ranging from 99 CNY to 150
CNY will be required for nighttime transportation. The journey to
the hotel is expected to take approximately 2 hours and 9 minutes.
On May 1, 2026, breakfast at the 5-star hotel will commence at 6:30
AM, and taxis will be available to take you from the hotel to the
starting line anytime between 7 AM and 7:30 AM, with a travel time
of about 19 minutes.
After the race on May 1, 2026, you can return to the official
Mercure Hotel in downtown Beijing via our buses. Additionally, taxis
will be available to transport you back to the 5-star hotel if
required.
The check-out time for the 5-star hotel on May 1, 2026, is set for
2:30 PM. After this time, should you need to travel to downtown
Beijing, the airports, or the train station, taxis can be easily
obtained from the 5-star hotel, with the fare to be covered by you.
Runners interested in this service may book directly through us or
via ACTIVE.COM. Tomorrow, we will add t new service, the Premium
Mini Package, which will be available at the registration links for
both the Great Wall of China Marathon 2025-Autumn and the 25th Great
Wall of China Marathon scheduled for May 1, 2026.
The hotel resembles a grand palace, exuding elegance throughout. The
service provided is exceptional, featuring an expansive restaurant,
a delightful swimming pool, a children's pool, and a well-equipped
gym!
If you have already registered for the race and require the 5-star
hotel service, a payment of 350 CNY is necessary. This is a unique
service that cannot be found elsewhere in China or globally! Do not
