Over the past year, from
Autumn 2024 to Autumn 2025, we have been very actively working on
introducing and expanding a new section of the Great Wall
specifically for runners, particularly those participating in the
full marathon, to tackle the most challenging marathon in China!
If you have participated in the Great Wall of China Marathon during
Autumn since 2016, you would be astounded by the significant
changes! From the Great Wall of China Marathon in Autumn 2025, we
have implemented some fundamental modifications to enhance your
experience for the Great Wall of China Marathon scheduled for May
1st, 2026!
Should you have taken part in the 24th Great Wall of China Marathon
on May 1st, 2025, and return for the Great Wall of China Marathon in
Autumn 2025, you would be amazed and would quickly notice the
changes made this Autumn for all global runners! Furthermore, if you
have completed two full marathons (GWCM) in 2025, the various
exciting sections of the Great Wall captured on your mobile devices
will become cherished memories in your marathon journey, and you
will possess unique photographs that no other runners on the wall
before could compare to!
Congratulations to all running warriors and every single running
hero, regardless of whether you are participating in the 5K, 10K,
Half Marathon, or Marathon! In 2026,we will continue to try our best
to utilize and expand the new section of the Great Wall! We extend a warm welcome to all runners
from around the world, both new and returning, to the iconic Great
Wall of China Marathon 2026-Autumn, which would be much better off
than the 25th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2026 in
Beijing!

China Marathon (GWCM)! And we also warmly welcome you to the 26th
Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2027 in Beijing,which marks the 34th total edition of the Great Wall of
China Marathon (GWCM)!
