Course Map of the Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn(October 5,2016) The Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn at Juyongguan has 4 items for runners to run.They are Full Marathon,Half Marathon,10K and 5K. Juyongguan Great Wall is a circled Great Wall.All the runners need to run across the 14 fortresses/towers along the walls. Here you could see the course map of 5K.And the 10K and Half and Full Marathon runners would also run the central path between North Tower and South Tower.5K runner just run a short distance in the central path. So basically speaking,10K runners need to run the two laps,half marathon runners would run 4 laps and full marathon runners would run the 8 laps.And our staff would use markers/stickers to record your laps.When all the runners come to Shenzhou(Beijing) International Hotel to get your race bags on October 15,we would have the more detail maps for you,and we answer questions of all the runners face-to-face.
The No.12 Fortress is the highest point and the No.6 Fortress is the lowest point.Therefore, running from No.6 to No.12 could be the most difficult part for all our runners.However, this is the part of the Great Wall that you would have the best view of the whole Juyongguan Great Wall.And we would have 5 water/aid stations along the course Here we release the details of their elevation.
