A Great Runner from 2010 Comes Again in 2017!(October 4,2016) The first email we received from Mr.Jim Lee was on October 8,2010.He said that he wanted to pay to run the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2011. When Mr.Lee came to Beijing with his beloved wife,he was 63 years old.He was the most senior runner at the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2011.When we had the first sight at him after he rushed to the finish line of the full marathon,he totally looked like a young man at the age of 40. All these years,Mr.Lee has been the robust runner in our minds.And last month,he even added us in Wechat,because Mr.Lee has been paying the greatest attention to the Great Wall of China Marathon(GWCM). Just now,we went over to see his first application in 2010,we felt so surprised that Mr.Lee was born in 1948.As you know nowadays wherever you walk in the city streets in China,you would know that it is the 67th anniversary of China.That is to say,Mr.Lee would be 69 years old when he comes to run the 16th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2017.
We could not help thinking how time flies!We could not image how Mr.Lee would be looking like when he flies to Beijing before May 1st,2017.But a runner at the age of 69 appears again at the Great Wall of China Marathon next year would shock us enough again!We still could not help thinking about the days when Mr.Lee was in Beijing with his beloved wife.Something also that would be extremely impressive for us about the value of family.
We greatly warmly welcome the coming of Mr.Lee,we also greatly welcome the participation of the worldwide runners at the 16th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st ,2017,and run together with the most respected Mr.Lee. The Great Wall you see in the picture is the one we no more use,we are using the different sections of the Great Walls of 5,000KM for all our runners to have the complete new vision every year from Northeastern China to Northwestern China.The Great Wall that we would use for the 16th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2017 is Badaling Ancient Great Wall in Beijing.
