Your Lovely Weekend in Beijing for the Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn(Sept.25,2016) It is three weeks from today that the Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn would be held on Sunday October 16,2016 at Juyongguan Great Wall in Beijing!This is the first time that we held the Great Wall of China Marathon twice a year after the Great Wall of China Marathon to be held on May 1st in the past 15 years!This is also the Great Wall that welcomes the world runners for marathon for the first time in its history. Today,we release something new and excitement for all our world runners to the Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn: 1.The first railway in China: By running the Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn,you would be able to see the first railway line from No.2 Fortress on the Great Wall.This railway was completed and open on October 2,1909.This was also the most difficult part for the railway builders more than 107 years ago at Juyongguan Great Wall.This railways is 201.2km linking Beijing and Zhangjiakou.So in 2022,when the Winter Olympic Games is held in Beijing and Zhangjiakou,if you would see in the opening ceremony about the first railway of China here and the China's express railway linking countries in Southeast Asia and Europe,you should be proud to tell your friends and your families that you are the first group of runners who run the Great Wall of China Marathon at Juyongguan Great Wall!Our medal to all our world runners would mark JUYONGGUAN. 2.Beautiful Autumn Maple Leaves: Some phenomenon that we cannot explain is that why the maple leaves become red at Juyongguan Great Wall from the mid October while the maple leaves at Xingshan in downtown Beijing would become red from the end of October and early November. Actually the Autumn in Beijing is the most beautiful season in a year.The weather is very pleasant,and the sky is very blue and high.Also as you know that October 1 is the National Day of China,and the very nice holiday atmosphere in every streets and every corners of Beijing could still be seen when you come to Beijing for the Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn. 3.*********************** This should be a so nice secret to all our runners and to all the family members who come to cheer for you on the walls.This could not be having in any other part of the Great Walls that we have already used in the past 15 years.Runners and family spectators would like this so much!We would tell all runners about this at the course explanation meeting on October 15 at Shenzhou(Beijing)International Hotel when you come to fetch your race bag. 4.Shower: We also provide the shower service for all our runners.You would get much refreshment.The price is same as before,and it is 30RMB. You can buy the shower ticket when you come to take your race bag on October 15 at Shenzhou(Beijing)International Hotel. 5.Banquet: Some time next week,we would write email and ask all our runners whether you need the banquet on the Great Wall or not after the race.it would be so pleasant and terrific to have your dinner in the evening on the Great Wall on October 16,2016!We know this kind of royal treatment and enjoyment would be no less than the banquet at the 5-star hotel.We do not know the price at this moment yet.But just get 100USD/per person ready for the possible extravagance.
