But can you imagine that the top three runners of the Great Wall of China Marathon 2024 also ran the world highest elevation marathon-the Roof of the World Marathon 2024 in Tibet, just one week after the Great Wall of China Marathon in Beijing? Mr. Brent Weigner, USA - 7:44:01 2. Miss.Sarah Bol, USA - 7:02:17 3. Miss.Joelly Ines, Austria - 7:02:17 Mr. Brent Weigner, at almost 75 years old, is the first and oldest runner to ever complete the Roof of the World Marathon. Miss Sarah Bol, a flight attendant, is the first American woman to run this marathon. Miss Joelly Ines holds the record for both the marathon and half marathon of the Great Wall of China Marathon!
