Chinese Tibetan Marathon Runners at Rio 2016 Olympics(August 2,2016) For the coming Rio 2016 Olympics,China have five marathoners.Two women and three men. Today,we would just like to mention a Tibetan runner among them. His name is unknown to most Chinese people.His name is Duobujie.He was born in Lhasa in 1994.He is the second excellent Tibetan to the Olympics.The first Tibetan participated the Seoul Olympic in 1988. For the excellent Chinese marathon runners,they mostly come from Yunnan and Tibet.If you were one of the runners at the 15th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2016,you must have noticed one of the very powerful runner who always took the lead and was much greeted by the staff and volunteers at all the aid stations along the Great Wall.He is from Yunnan,ranked the second at the full marathon. When we go to work in Tibet for the Roof of the World Marathon,the Tibetan warm and very nice young people often say to us,"Bring your excellent runners,and run with me!"We believe they are not just making jokes,we feel the young men in Tibet are also very powerful in marathon races. Welcome to sign up the Roof of the World Marathon 2017,and during our stay in Lhasa,we are able to arrange you to meet the Tibetan Olympic runner Mr. Duobujie.And if you like,we can arrange you to race with Mr.Duobujie for 2KM in the summer palace of Dalai Lama in Lhasa as your warming up.When you sign up,please leave your message in the Comment"I would like to meet and race with Mr.Duobujie",then we would make the arrangement for you in Lhasa. By the way,one of the female Chinese runners at Rio 2016 is Miss.Hua Shaoqing,also born in 1994 as Mr.Duobujie.She is still a student in the university in China. We are not only the founder and race director of the Great Wall of China Marathon with the history of 15 years already,we are also the founder and the race director of the Roof of the World Marathon,together with Xijiang Marathon and Guilin Marathon. From this year,we hold the Great Wall of China Marathon twice a year.So the second one this year is the Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn,which would be held on October 16 at a Great Wall in Beijing.It is the first time the Great Wall would witness the excellent runners from all over the world,and our next one is the 16th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2017.
