New Subway Open in Beijing Benefits our Runners to the 16th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2017(June 22,2016) The Subway Line No.16 would be open in Beijing by the end of this year.We have just translated the newly-released subway map into English.
As you know,Shenzhou (Beijing) International Hotel has been the official 4-star hotel for our world runners who run the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st every year.The hotel is just 7 minutes away from China National Library Station,see the map above. As we introduced before that from the 15th Great wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2016,we also begin to use another 5-star hotel nearby,and there is very beautiful park called Zizhuyuan,which is in the south of the Library Station,also another 7 minutes,this is very good Chinese park for our runners to do some exercise before the 16th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2017. When this subway is open,another two wonderful places would be in the very easy reach for sightseeing and for exercise for our runners who live at Shenzhou(Beijing)International Hotel. 1.Yuyuantan Park.You can get off from Sanlihebeikou Station,you can either enter the park through its north gate or just walk westward then down south,then you would pass the very important and well-known DIAOYUTAI,it is a place where the top Chinese leaders often have the meeting.and then you can enter the Yuyuantan Park from its east gate. 2.Fengtai Sports Center:You can get off from Fengtainanlu Staion,see the red dot we marked in the south.Then you can enter the Sports Center for training and exercise!This would be completely new for benefits for all our runners!Many smaller international sports meeting are held here every year in this center. This morning,the manager of Shenzhou(Beijing)International Hotel called us for the the Great Wall of China Marathon posters in this hotel for the Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn,and this is the first time that we held the Great Wall of China Marathon twice a year,the exact date is on October 16,2016.See the relevant report.
