How
to Choose the item to Run for the 15th Great Wall of China
Marathon on May 1,2016(March

Mr.Chwastek is a competitor from Poland.He would arrive in Beijing on
April 30,2016 together with his wife and daughter for the 15th Great Wall of
China Marathon to be held on May 1,2016.
If his wife and his daughter would not join just as a spectator( application
fee 125USD/each),how should the Chwasteks make the choice for the items to
run?Here are some basic information for the family and for all the
new-coming world runners:
The full marathon runners would run 33km on the Great Walls and 9km on the
small path.
And half marathon runners would run run 16.5km on the Great Walls and 4.5km
on the small path.
10K runners would run 7Km on the Great Walls and 3km on the small path.
5K runners would run 2Km on the Great Walls and 3km on the small path.
The elevation for the full marathon,half marathon and 10K would be at the
course from 669m to 1216m.
We think that the non-runners could finish the 5K at about 1 hour or 1 hour
30 minutes.
The 10K runners could finish the the course at about 1 hour 30 minutes to 2
hours 30 minutes normally.
The half marathon runners could finish the course at about 5 hours.
The full marathon runners could finish the course at around 8 hours.
This year,the champion male marathon runner could finish the full marathon
at about 6 hour 30 minutes and the last full marathon runner could be
finishing the race at about 10 hours.
And the time limit for the full marathon runners is 10 hours.
The race would start at 7AM and end at 5PM according to our experience in
the past years. Each of our big bus full of 50 runners would depart the
Great Walls for the 4-star Shenzhou(Beijing)International Hotel and the
5-star Nikko New Century Hotel in downtown Beijing. We would be very happy
to accompany the last runner,the last great hero back to downtown Beijing on
May 1,2016.
Also do not forget to go to the Memorial Wall to see your names,the names of
the runners/heroes at the 15th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2016
and take a photo there!
