The First Ukrainian Runner to Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2015(October 25,2014) It is not the first time that the runners from Ukraine to run the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1 in the past years. But we would be very happy to tell all our world runners that it is the first time the a Ukrainian runner who had run the marathon on the Great Wall in Tianjin in May this year have applied today to run the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2015! She is Miss.Oksana Riabova,who ran the half marathon over there at 1 hour 55 minutes. But Miss.Oksana Riabova would run the full marathon at Great Wall of China marathon on May 1,2015! Well,the fastest women half marathon runner at Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2014 is Miss.Irina Polyakova from Russia at 3:35:24.And the average time for women at half marathon is 6:56:47(Miss.Irina Polyakova went to Tibet with us after the race). So you can imagine how difficult our marathon is on the Great Walls.And the half marathon runners here would run more than 10,000 countable stairs on the Great Walls.And the full marathon runners would run more than 20,000 countable stairs on the 40KM on the Great Walls! Miss.Oksana Riabova had run only two half marathon,the previous one is in her country Ukraine at 1h36min. But Miss.Oksana Riabova is faster,and we believe if she keeps on training from now,she could be on the top rank among women at the full marathon at Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2015,and possibly on the top three.
