About Hotels/Registration & Transportation (August 26,2014) We have the extensive exchanges with Darell.And these would be important and useful for most runners,and here are something about the hotels, registration & transportation'
Hotel/Registration:
Jinshan Hotel is close to the start
line of the Great Wall of China marathon on May 1,2015.It is
only 15 minutes walking. As for the item/race kits to send to Shanghai or any other
cities in China from Beijing,we have not done that before,but if
you could arrive at Jinshan Hotel,we have a point there to
distribute the race kits to the runners there.And if you do hope
to receive the race kit,we can do that,but you have to pay the
EMS postage and the deposit 100RMB in advance,because we would
have the champion chip in the parcel to you.We can not send to
you early,only around April 28,2015. You might come to Beijing several days earlier or leave
Beijing several days later before or after the Great Wall of
China Marathon 2015,so if you need us to book the hotel,please
let us know. Transportation There are over 150KM from from any of the train station in downtown Beijing to Jinshanling Great Walls,and it would be expensive if you go with an arranged transportation for you.It would cost you about 200USD just for one way if you decide to rent a car.If so we would like to help to arrange one for you. If you would like to come to Shenzhou(Beijing)International Hotel,when you arrive in Beijing from Shanghai/or other Chinese cities by train,then you can change to use the subway,it would only cost you 2RMB to get to Shenzhou(Beijing)International Hotel,and if you take taxi from the railway station to the hotel,it would cost you about 50RMB.That day would be extremely busy for us,we worry that we would not have extra person to go to fetch you at the railway station.If you do need,we would like to ask a travel service to help to fetch you,so the price would be about 400RMB from the railway station to Shenzhou(Beijing)International Hotel.So please tell us your idea,we would make the arrangment for you.And if you would like to come together with some of your friend,then the fee for the transportation would become cheaper. If you take taxi from any train stations or airports in Beijing by yourself to the Shenzhou(Beijing)International Hotel,it would cost you only from 50RMB to 150RMB. Yes,after the race,our buses would all come back to Shenzhou(Beijing)International Hotel,beccause we have so many runners living at difference hotels in Beijing,we do not have the enough manpower to satisfy this,and if you do hope that you would like to be sent to your hotel,we would like to ask a travel service in Beijing to totally work for you.Please give us your idea. Below are the Online Applications for the Great Wall of China Marathon 2015 and the Roof of the World Marathon 2015,you can choose one to apply to run or both.
