Shockwave Over Taiwan Island(July 10,2012) Nobody had ever expected that the No.1 full marathon winner for men was from Taiwan at the Great Wall of China Marathon which was hold on May 1,2012 in Beijing. The Joy of victory written on the faces of every Taiwan Runners.Click the photo to see the large size. More than 10 runners were from Taiwan,and most of them were from the running team called Dajiaoya( roughly means BIG FEET). The No.1 runner Mr.Hsieh Sung Chiang(3:27:23)was from the team who all worn their yellow uniforms on May 1,2013. The 098 uncle talked so joyfully and leisurely,not here you see in the photo,but on the Great Walls with our staff about how they prepared to run the Great Wall of China Marathon 2012. The girl No.77 was just successfully dashed to the finish line. People in Taiwan speak Chinese,and after this victory,they saw huge report in Chinese language,including the Chinese governmental top media report about the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2012. The victory of Taiwan team is like a shockwave,which is spreading all over Taiwan island day by day.And it is very difficult to say that there would be no large number of runners at the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2013.
