Two Canadian Particpants (May 14,2009)

Mr.Tony Allard and Mr.Lars Jung came to the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,not for running, but for taking the photograph and for encoraging their wivies for running the marathon.

Unexpectedly,it rained one hour before the start of the running! And this is the first time that Great Wall of China Marathon was caught in the rain. The two gentlemen were so kind and they spent quite a long time trying to manage to buy all the raincoats there for all the runners! We persuade them not to do so.

Thw two gentlemen were really kind and late in the day they also offered much help and advice to the organizers.

All their deeds remind of us that we have ever read about an article early this year which says Canadians are regarded as the friendliest people in our world toegther. It is really true we think!

According to the information from the organizers of Great Wall of China Marathon(GWCM) that we would have more Canadian runners to the GWCM 2010 and Dream Travel from Canada would send our first group of runners for application from next month!

(To be continued on May 16,2009!)
