Volunteers have started their work(April 17,2014) Imagine that you would finish you full marathon in 10 hours from 6AM till 4PM on May 1,2014 at the Great Wall of China Marathon 2014,well,it is really not easy for you at all. Maybe not so many people would know that our volunteers would work on the Great Walls for more than 13 hours or possibly 14 hours on May 1,2014. They would get up at around 3AM and then walk in the darkness up to the different parts of the Great Walls along the course.It is very dangerous for them. And they will not be able to withdraw from the Great Walls until our runners finish running. So we also hope our runners at Great Wall of China Marathon 2014 would listen to the direction,otherwise maybe the other 40 runners  have to wait for you in the bus.Let us understand one another. We are very happy to tell you that this year,we have around 7 overseas volunteers working for you besides Chinese volunteers. Please read our advice on the distance you had better choose to run: NOTICE No.3:Our Pertinent Advice for Full Marathon Runners(April 10,2014)New! We are still accepting the application from the whole world runners.The application fee for Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1 is 198USD or you can pay 1207RMB. By the way,the new runners  will always get the hotel rooms free of charge either at Shenzhou(Beijing)International Hotel or Jinshan Hotel on April 30.When you apply,please also confirm this hotel available for you. We would like to say today that Option 1  and  Option 3 of the Great Wall of China Marathon 2014 Tours are  becoming popular among the new runners these days.Option 3  is 3-day stay at the 4-star official hotel in Beijing ,plus the airport pick-up and airport see-off,and the application fee 198USD is also included.And it is very worthwhile to have this Option 3 for the runners who are from outside China.It is only 498USD.
