Suggested Hotels for the Worldwide Runners for Great Wall of China Marathon 2014(October 25,2013) Since the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2014 would start at 6AM on the Great Walls in Beijing,so it becomes more and more important for the worldwide runners to choose your hotels in Beijing to live. There are about 150KM from downtown Beijing to Jinshanling Great Walls,so our buses for the worldwide runners would depart our official hotel -SHENZHOU(BEIJING)INTERNATIONAL HOTEL at 2:30AM on May 1,2014. Here are the four hotels we suggest for the worldwide runners: 1)B&B Inn:There are 3 such hotels with the same name in Beijing,and the one we choose is just by the side of SHENZHOU(BEIJING)INTERNATIONAL HOTEL,and there are only 2 minutes walking distance.The inside of the hotel rooms do not look like nice,but this is the nearest hotel to the official hotel.The standard room rate is 351RMB per night,no breakfast included at the room rate,and the breakfast is 25RMB.The check out time is at 12 at noon. If you book through us,you can enjoy one bed with 175RMB,and you can share the room with another worldwide runner,and if you prefer to live just by yourself,we can offer you the one bed room with the 351RMB,and the check out time can be at 2PM for all runners through our bookings. 2)Hubei Hotel:This is a three-star hotel in our eyes though it is marked as 4-star hotel.It is just at the opposite side of B&B Inn,and it is one the other side of the street.It would take about 7 minutes for you walking to the official hotel SHENZHOU(BEIJING)INTERNATIONAL HOTEL.The room rate we get is 480RMB for a standard room,and if you book through yourself,the room rate would be around 680RMB,and no breakfast is included,the breakfast is 68RMB per person,there are Chinese and western breakfast. If you book through us,and you can just pay one bed rate at 240RMB per night and you would share the room with another worldwide runner. 3)Beijing Youth Hostel:There are also more than three such hotels in Beijing,and the one we choose is just around 15 minutes walking distance to the official hotel.The room rate for the standard room is 280RMB and no breakfast included. If you book the hotel through us,you can get a bed with 140RMB,and you can share the room with another worldwide runner. 4)Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel:This is a totally western style hotel,5-star.The standard room rate is 150USD per night with breakfast included.But you must use the hotel at least for three nights.You can enjoy the swimming pool and the gym free.This hotel is at the east side of Beijing at Shuangjing Railway Station,and if you take taxi to the official hotel,it would take you about 45 minutes.We have decided to offer a bus to pick up our runners there at 2AM on May 1,2014. You can never get such room rate without booking with us. 5)Hotel and hostel at the Great Walls:The room rate varies from 200RMB to 500RMB for a standard room,so if you book through us,you can enjoy one bed at 100RMB to 250RMB.The rooms at the Great Walls are limited,we suggest you to book through us early if you decide to live by the side of the Great Walls before the race.The walking distance to the START is only about 15 minutes. And if you book through us,we have free bus to send you there to the Great Walls at about 2PM on April 30,2014 from our official hotel SHENZHOU(BEIJING)INTERNATIONAL HOTEL. 6)SHENZHOU(BEIJING)INTERNATIONAL HOTEL:This has been our official hotel for three years.It is 4-star hotel.The room rate is 106USD,breakfast included.And if you book through us,you can just pay a bed with 53USD,you would share a bed with another worldwide runner. The Registration and the Course Explanation Meeting would be at the hotel for all the worldwide runners to Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2014. And on May 1,2014,our buses with all the worldwide runners would depart from this hotel at 2:30AM. The exchange rate: 1USD=6.08RMB.It was 6.1RMB last year.
